What we collect
Shymkent.com has no user accounts, no comment system and no newsletter sign-up. We do not ask for, or store, your name, email address or payment details.
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify individual visitors.
Language preference
If you choose a language, your browser may store that choice locally so the site can remember it. It is not sent to us.
Third-party services
- GetYourGuide: pages with tour listings load a booking widget and an analytics script from GetYourGuide. When you click through and book, GetYourGuide processes your data under its own privacy policy and may set cookies to attribute the booking to us.
- Trip.com: hotel links open Trip.com, which applies its own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts: typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of the request.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work. Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access or delete personal data — since we hold none beyond server logs, there is usually nothing for us to provide, but you are welcome to ask.
